Sand truck driver buried by his own cargo

An Asian truck driver transporting sand to a company in Saudi Arabia was killed when he was buried under the sand as he tried to off load the shipment.

The shipment collapsed and covered the man as he tried to open the back door and police said the incident happened because the truck was overloaded.

“A man who saw the head of the driver in the sand phoned police and the civil defence…when they pulled the driver out, he was already dead,” the Arabic language daily 'Sabq' said in a report from the western town of Taif.
