Saudi announces death of Mers patient; 5 news cases

Saudi Arabia announced on Friday the death of a patient infected with the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and reported new five cases in capital Riyadh.

The ministry of health said in a statement posted on its website that three of the new laboratory-confirmed cases were Saudi citizens.

All the cases were suffering from chronic diseases.
