Saudi police hold man held for being a pimp

Saudi Arabia’s religious police arrested a Bangladeshi man for the alleged running of a prostitution ring involving four Saudi women, press reports in the Gulf Kingdom said on Wednesday.

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice had watched the suspect for nearly a week before seizing him in the eastern port of Dammam, they said.

The Bangladeshi later confessed to pimping for the four women, aged 17, 30, 35 and 40 years, the reports added.
