Saudi scholar robbed while praying

Thieves stole the mobile phone and other personal items belonging to a prominent Saudi Islamic scholar while he was praying at a mosque in the Gulf kingdom.

Sheikh Adel Al Kalbani has just finished his prayer at the mosque in the capital Riyadh and returned to his car when he noticed his mobile phone and purse containing visa cards and other documents were gone.

“They stole my mobile phone and my personal items in a country where we are all Muslims…When once I was in South Korea, I lost my mobile phone but it was returned to me in a package although they are not Muslims,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
