Speeding car takes boy's head in Saudi

A boy’s head was split off his body after he was hit by a speeding car in Saudi Arabia while he was looking for his mother, a local daily reported on Thursday.

The 12-year-old African boy, who was not identified, was crossing the road in the western Red Sea port of Jeddah when he was knocked down by the vehicle.

“The hit was so strong that the boy’s head flew off his body…..the car fled the scene but police are searching for it,” Almadina newspaper said.

“The tragedy was aggravated when the boy’s mother came to the scene and asked people if any one has seen her child.”
