Three-kg tumor removed from woman’s womb

Doctors at a Saudi hospital have removed a three-kg tumor from a woman’s womb in an operation that last several hours, Kabar daily reported Monday.

The 42-year-old woman had suffered from severe pains in the abdomen and pelvis for a long period of time before she was admitted to the hospital in the southern town of Saleel, the paper said.

“A medical team from the hospital performed an operation and removed the entire tumor that weighed around three kg…..she was later discharged from hospital in a good condition and without any complications,” it said.
