Time to express my love to her: Kidney donor to grandmother

A Saudi man who donated part of his kidney to his ill grandmother said he had done so because he wanted to express his love for her.

“I am very happy that my grandmother’s suffering has ended and she is in good condition…I felt that it is time to express my love for her as she brought me up,” Khalid Al Zahrani said, quoting by the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq.

The paper said the operation was performed at King Faisal Hospital in the capital Riyadh and that both Zahrani and his mum’s mother are in good condition.
