Two men rape 12-year-old girl after drugging her in Morocco

Two men raped a 12-year-old girl after drugging her before dumping her naked in a deserted place in Morocco, newspapers reported on Monday.

A café worker in the northeastern Moroccan town of Nador abducted the girl to his apartment, where he drugged her before calling his friend to join him.

Newspapers quoted police as saying the two took turns in raping the girl before dumping her naked and in a serious condition in a deserted area.

The girl was later found by passers-by who rushed her to hospital, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit with bruises, fractures and ruptures. Police mounted a massive manhunt to find the two rapists, the papers said.

Man dies just before prayers
 
A man went into the mosque for his usual dawn prayers, had a wash and sat on a chair to get ready to pray. But he never moved again.

Residents going into the mosque in a neighborhood in the eastern Saudi town of Khobar spurred the man when it was time for prayers.

“They kept moving him but he never moved…when they checked him again, they found that he was dead,” Sabq daily said.

It quoted the mosque’s preacher as saying the unnamed man “used to be the first one to come to mosque and open its doors for other worshippers.”
