Arab child cries at seeing Israeli flags

A little Jordanian pupil shocked his teacher during a school visit to the Southern Red Sea port of Aqaba when he burst into crying after seeing Israeli flags in a nearby port.

The boy and his classmates were in Aqaba as part of a school programme of visits to key Jordanian cities when he started to cry as he looked at the Israeli Red Sea port of Eilat on the coast of occupied Palestine.

A YouTube film posted on regional social networks showed the boy crying with tears in his eyes as he was hugged by the teacher and asked why he was crying.

“Palestine… Oh my teacher… There are many Israeli flags in Palestine,” the boy said while sobbing.
