Two men raped a woman inside a sheep barn in Saudi Arabia and fled to nearby mountains before they were captured by the police, a newspaper in the Gulf kingdom reported on Monday.
The unnamed woman told the 28-year-old Saudi and a Yemeni shepherd, 35, she would let them sleep with her in return for SR550 in an attempt to run away as she knew they did not have money, the Arabic language daily Alsaudi said.
After a while, the two men returned with the money and caught the woman as she tried to escape from the deserted area in the central town of Makkah, the paper said.
“She resisted and tried to escape again but they carried her inside the sheep barn and took turns in raping her,” it said.
“Police, who had received a SOS from the woman earlier, arrived at the scene but the two men tried to escape to the nearby mountains…after a chase, they arrested them.”
