Woman’s mobile stolen at Bahrain airport

A Saudi woman immediately dropped the case against a European man accused of stealing her I-Phone at the customs checkpoint in Bahrain’s Manama Airport.

The woman collecting her personal items in a box that was scanned by the customs machine told police her mobile phone had disappeared.

Security cameras showed a European passenger picked the phone and dumped it in his pocket before proceeding to the lounge to wait for his flight home.

“The European said he thought the phone is his as it has the same colour…the woman quickly dropped the case against him so he would not miss his flight,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq said.
