In a gruesome act of revenge an Egyptian woman was kidnaped by four couples who beat her and then left her naked on street, reported Masrawy website.
Four ladies along with their husbands carried NA, the victim, to their apartment where they tortured and sexually assaulted her.
But, the couples were not satisfied just yet, they took off all her nails, hit her black and blue and finally stripped her and left her lying naked in the vicinity.
The neighbours rushed to the aid of NA, covered her and took her to the hospital before informing the police.
The couples have been arrested.
Woman, baby killed in yacht fire
An old Saudi woman was killed and a baby boy was injured when a commercial yacht taking a number of people on a short voyage caught fire off the western coast of the Gulf kingdom, a newspaper reported on Sunday.
The yacht had 11 people on board when fire broke out because of a malfunction in the cooling system as it cruised the Red Sea, Sabq Arabic language daily said.
The woman, in her 70s, died of suffocation while the baby was injured and taken to hospital. The other passengers jumped into the water but were all plucked by other yachts and boats in the area.
“When the fire broke out, the captain of the yacht jumped out and fled…other yachts and boats present in the area rushed to help the passengers after phoning the coast guard,” the paper said.
Prisoner uses underwear rubber to end life
A man arrested by police in a vice case used his underwear rubber to end his life by hanging himself inside the toilet just before standing trial.
The 27-year-old unidentified man had asked police to let him go to the toilet before going into court in the western town of Makkah, Sharq newspaper said.
“They searched him but found nothing, so they allowed him to go into the toilet and waited for him just outside,” the paper said.
“After nearly one hour, the man still had not gone out…when police men broke the door and entered the toilet, they found him hanging by his underwear rubber, which was tied to the toilet flush above…police sources said they believe man committed a suicide because he feared scandal.”
