A Yemeni woman has taken her husband to court for what he described as his “WhatsApp addiction” and asked the judge to force him to give equal time to her.

The woman told court in the southern Yemeni port of Aden that her husband spends most of his time on the WhatsApp service at the expense of his family.

“She told the judge that her husband no longer cares for his family as WhatsApp has taken almost all his time,” the Yemeni daily October 14 said.

“She asked the judge to force her husband to be fair so he will give equal time to WhatsApp and to her and the family.”

Chicken with 3 legs in Yemen

A Yemeni poultry shop owner was surprised to discover one of his chickens has three legs. Although customers refused to buy it, scores of them visit his shop daily to see the chicken, which he said is the first with three legs he had ever seen.

“Many of them come every day to see the chicken but no one wants to buy it.

“I don’t know why,” the dealer told the Yemeni Aden Al Gad news network at his shop in the southern Yemeni province of Abyan.
