Residency Directorate opens Port Rashid office

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs of Dubai recently launched its new office at Port Rashid.

Colonel Salah bin Salloum, Assistant Director of the External Service Centres explained  that the inauguration of the new building was to keep pace with the large flow of tourists which UAE witnessed.

He added  that the department is fully supporting of the tourism sector through the organisation of the process of entry and exit of passengers coming to Dubai, and streamlining procedures to ensure the comfort of the tourists.

The office inauguration was attended by Hamad bin Mijren, first director of the tourism services in Dubai, and Lieutenant Colonel Jasim Fouladh, Director of Department of land and sea ports, and Captain Essa Al  Saeed, head of Passports Control department of Port Rashid.
