Sarah G cries ‘womaniser!’

It is very obvious that singer-actress Sarah Geronimo hasn’t got over yet with her stalled love affair with the very handsome and athletic heartthrob Gerald Anderson.

She is said to have made some stride remarks about someone being a womaniser, obviously referring to Anderson, who is now sweethearts with Maja Salvador, the best friend of Kim Chiu, another ex of his.

In last Sunday’s ‘Sarh G Live” on ABS-CBN, for instance, Ms Geronimo advised her audience against having a relationship with a womaniser after she sang Britney Spears’ ‘Womanizer’.

Then she asked her co-host, Robi Domingo, whether he was a womaniser while the studio audience was making guffaws in reaction to her statement alluding to Mr Anderson.

“Why, who is the womaniser here?” Mr Anderson replied.

“Well, they know that already,” she said. “Let’s rally for the women who love truly and those who are being hurt. It’s just a joke. OK, control the emotion now.”

Geronimo then capped her show with the song ‘Take a Bow’, which tells of a woman saying goodbye to her boyfriend who has neglected her love and their relationship.

It may be recalled that Geronimo had ended her love affair with Anderson, on the grounds that her parents didn’t like him. The parents saw the actor as a ‘chick boy’, a popular term used in the Philippines to describe a young and handsome men who loves to carry on simultaneous or successive relationships with various women.

Anderson, in the meantime, has admitted that he would want to continue having a romantic relationship with Ms Salvador, much to the chagrin of Chiu.

Besides being best friends—or maybe not anymore—the two actresses are both starring in ‘Ina, Kapatid, Anak’ (Mother, Sibling, Child), a ‘teleserye’ (TV soap opera) on ABS-CBN.

Chiu has expressed publicly her surprise and anger at the couple, saying she didn’t expect something like it to come from her best friend.
