Schizophrenic man vanishes in Saudi

A 33-year-old Saudi man suffering from Schizophrenia has been missing for more than a week after stepping out of his house in the Gulf kingdom.

Fayez Al Otaibi had been confined to his house for several years because of his condition, but he managed to go out after his family left the door open at night.

Sabq newspaper quoted his brother as saying Fayez stepped out of the house in capital Riyadh last week and never turned up again.

“My brother is suffering from split personality…we call on those who have any information about him to contact us or the police,” he said.
