SRI LANKA: A senior school girl from Manipai, Jaffana, had been abducted and raped by her cousin brother, ‘Hiru Gossip’ reported.
The horrific incident occurred while she was returning from school after sports practice.
When the 18-year-old victim was walking alone towards home, her cousin brother abducted her in his three-wheeler.
The suspect took her to the Jaffna Fort where he raped her and fled the scene.
When people visited the Fort for sightseeing, they saw the young girl lying unconscious and informed the Jaffna police, who took her to the Jaffna General Hospital.
Jaffna police after recording a statement of the victim are conducting investigation. They have arrested the rapist along with the three-wheeler driver.
