Girl bites abuser's tongue and escapes

Colombo – In an incident has reported from the Akuressa area, an 18-year-old girl, while returning after school, taught an unforgettable lesson to a bus conductor, who attempted to sexually molest her, ‘Hiru Gossip’ reported.

The bus conductor attempted to molest the girl and she at first attacked him with an umbrella.

Eventually she fled the scene after biting his tongue.

The suspect has been arrested by the police after she lodged a complaint.

The suspect, a resident of Henegama in Akuress, has been remanded after being produced before the Galle magistrate court.
 
Teacher acts in a strange manner with students


A teacher from the Matale area has been arrested by the Mahawela Police for abusing male students.

He is accused of inserting a stick in their pants and also abusing several students of both sexes, ‘Gossip C Lanka’ has reported.

The suspect was arrested upon a complaint lodged by the parents of four students and the police said that he was a teacher in charge of language for Grades 6 and 7.

A senior police officer said that the abused students have been admitted to the hospital for medical examinations.

Daughters saved, but wife raped

A woman from the Usaththewa area in Naula has lodged a complaint with the Naula police stating that two men entered her house had gang-raped her in front of her husband, after robbing SLR25,000, ‘Hiru Gossip’ has reported.

In her complaint, she had further stated, that her husband saved their two little daughters, but the two men gang- raped her.

A team of police officers led by acting OIC Inspector Nishantha, arrested the suspect and he was produced before the Laggala court.

According to the woman’s complaint, one suspect is a 35-year-old unmarried man and the other is a 48-year-old father of three.
