Girlfriend raped by boy's friends

Udawalawa police have caught three young men on Monday (23) for raping the girlfriend of one of the suspects, ‘Lankadeepa’ reported.

The victim was carrying out an affair with a young man for some time and on the day of the incident, he had accompanied her with another friend to a house in Udawalawa area where he had raped the girl and offered her to his ally and the house-owner, police said adding that thereafter, he had left her at home.

The victim’s father, who witnessed the daughter’s suspicious behavior, had discovered the incident after questioning her.

Udawalawa police while conducting further inquiry said that the victim was a 17-year-old girl and the three suspects arrested would be produced before the Embilipitiya magistrate court.
