Two prisoners try to escape in Saudi

Two Saudi prisoners used the traditional Arabian Ghutra (head cover) to escape but were caught by prison guards just after they were outside sniffing freedom.

The two tied many ghutras together and dangled them down from the rooftop under the cover of night when guards were performing prayers.

‘Sabq’ newspaper, quoting prison sources, said the two managed to climb down and jump over the wall but were chased and caught by the guards.
