Wall collapse causes injuries in Qatar

Several workers were injured in Qatar when a newly-built surrounding wall at a high rise building under construction collapsed.

A large number of police men, civil defence cars and ambulances rushed to Al Sad area near the capital Doha to evacuate the casualties, some of whom suffered serious injuries, the Qatari Sharq daily said.

The paper published a film showing the collapse of the massive wall at night, adding that rescue operations were still under way late night. It did not specify the number of casualties or mention their nationalities
