Warehouse fire in Ras Al Khor

A fire broke out in a warehouse in Ras Al Khor at about 11.15am, with a plume of smoke still visible at 1pm.

Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) confirmed the news with 'Emirates 24|7' stating the fire was reported at 11.23am and fire rescue teams are currently on the scene to bring the blaze under control.

The DCD representative added: "The blaze is located near the Nissan Service Centre, with currently one warehouse on fire. Teams are on the scene."

Eyewitness Saira Bano said: "The blaze broke out shortly after 11am, and two hours you can see the smoke increasing."

Bano stated the fire is situated in the Ras Al Khor industrial area, near Aladdin Roundabout.

There has been no report of any causality so far. Further details are awaited from DCD.
