Who wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of the rich and famous? It’s this aspirational quotient that makes us follow them – what they do, why they do it, what do they wear, what do they drive, where do they live, how do they travel, and where do they like to stay when they travel?
The rich travel the world over and, of course, stay in the most lavish of hotels. Just like a dream setting, they stay in luxury accommodations – some of the world’s most expensive hotel rooms that money can buy. These pads have it all – views, opulence and service that mere mortals can only dream of.
Even if many of us can’t compete with them, there’s no harm in knowing where exactly do they live while travelling.
A New World Wealth reports lists the most popular hotels where the ultra-rich like to spend their days while travelling, and Dubai’s Burj Al Arab features in this list.
This Dubai hotel has been voted one of the world’s most luxurious hotels in the past as well. The luxury hotel offers its customers the finest service and facilities throughout – right down to an optional chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce.
Here is the complete list of the most popular hotels among those who can afford to live in them.

The Plaza’s high place on the list is impressive considering it only has 280 rooms which puts it at a disadvantage to larger hotels which can accommodate more guests in a year.
The Wynn Resort is the only Las Vegas resort with a golf course attached to it, which is a major draw card for the super-rich.
