Wife’s 'acid' revenge against husband

A Saudi woman went crazy after learning her husband has married again, but she managed to control her mood to plan revenge with burning acid.

After his return home from work that afternoon, the unsuspecting husband greeted her with a smile and went straight to bed for a short nap.

“As he fell asleep, his wife brought a bottle of acid and poured it on his body. The husband instantly jumped out of bed with a shock and excruciating pain,” Arar Arabic language daily said in a report from the northern town of Rafha.

“He rushed to hospital where he was treated for acid burns all over his body. His relatives later asked him to report his wife to the police but he refused. He just picked the phone and divorced her.”
