Wife seeks divorce from hubby who cooks better

Court delays judgment until end of Ramadan in hope woman might reconsider decision

An Egyptian woman is seeking divorce after she learnt her husband is the better cook.

Mohammed Said, chef at a Cairo hotel, surprised his family by his decision to cook supper for them at the beginning of Ramadan.

However, the couple's sons loved their father's cooking so much that they demanded he cook for them every night, which made the woman seek divorce, reported IANS/RIA Novosti quoting 'Al-Masry Al-Youm' newspaper.

An Egyptian court has delayed judgment until the end of the holy month in the hope the woman might reconsider her decision.

    This woman is very funny and she might not be "all there" cos I see no big deal in having a husband that cooks better than me infact its a wonderful and romantic thing to have a husband that can cook something nice for me.my husband actually loves to cook and I must admit he cooks some dishes better than me.why would I want to divorce him 4 that?beats me

    There is more than meets the eye people, there are always two sides to every story. First of all it must be the first time this man has cooked in his house since everyone is surprised at how well his cooking is. Maybe and this is pure speculation on my part, this man has been hiding a lot more than his cooking talent...

    The court should not delay judgement, the court should throw them both out of the court and tear up the case documents. There certainly has to be MUCH more important and time-worthy concerns happening in Egypt than a woman wanting a divorce because her husband is a better cook. Some people today just utilize and waste the law's time, effort, and responsibilities on absolutely nothing.
