Woman pardons dad…

A Saudi woman dropped charges and pardoned her father nearly 17 years after he killed her husband and remained on death row in jail.

The woman went to court in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah and told the judge she had decided to pardon her father, who stabbed her husband to death during a fight.

‘Sada’ newspaper said the judge decided to immediately release the father in line with Islamic law.
