Accident kills 16-year-old Emirati

An Emirati identified as Mhm, aged 16, died in a road accident in the Maliha area, heading towards Dubai early on Friday morning.

A 27-year-old, identified as Sa, was seriously injured.

An official source at the Al Dhaid hospital confirmed to ‘Emarat Al Youm’ that two people were brought to the emergency department at the hospital at 6:11am on Friday by ambulance.

One of the persons died from severe injuries suffered to the head, while the driver was wounded seriously with fractures to different parts of the body.

He was transferred to the intensive care unit at the hospital.
