Members of Country Club Hospitality and Holidays in the Middle East and India will get a new venue for wildlife tourism at a resort close to the leading Indian wild life santuary.

Country Club Hospitality and Holidays Ltd, a Hyderabad-based family club and travel, fitness network, has added the new wildlife facility, Country Club Wild Exotica,  in Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarkhand, one of the largest tiger reserves in India.

Corbett National Park situated in the foothills of the Himalayas is a much sought-after destination for wildlife lovers in India. One of India's most beautiful wildlife areas it reportedly has a tiger population of around 160, which makes this park the last and the most important bastion of this endangered species in India.

Rajeev Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, told ‘Emirates24|7’, Country Club is also supporting Save Tiger project, which fights cruelty against the big cat. Announcing the formal launch of the new resort close to the tiger reserve forest, Bollywood actress and Country Club member Richa Chadda, who is also a wildlife explorer, said  she  is happy to be associated with the cause of ‘Save Tiger’.

“More than 50 per cent of our revenues come from overseas operations and within the next couple of years, we will be completing 100 facilities worldwide,” Reddy said and added that the number of fitness centres will increase from 75 to 100 outlets.

“The elephant wildlife property in Bandipur was opened at a time when people were scared to go into forests fearing Veerappan, the sandalwood smuggler. After Veerappans death, we started the Bandipur wildlife property where visitors can see elephants 10 feet away from the animal. Bandipur National Park is one of the most beautiful and better-managed national parks of India,” Reddy said.

“We are adding 100 new rooms to the existing resort there,” he added. Country Club is recognized by Limca Book of Records as India’s biggest chain of family clubs.
