Video: Man stabs wife in face for seeking divorce

A Moroccan wife asked her husband to divorce her but instead of politely turning down her request, he slashed her face with a kitchen knife.

Doctors in the North African Arab country had to perform 21 stitches on the face of Amima Almoos, 18, to heal her wounds after her husband stabbed her many times.

“He is now trying to sell me love words to please me so I will drop the case against him…but I will not and I will go ahead with the divorce case,” the woman from the capital Rabat told Morocco’s Menara news network.
