An Asian tailor allegedly molested a woman in a mall, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
SA, 26, Palestinian housewife, was with her friend DM, 30, at the time of the incident.
“While I was standing with my friend in the mall, I felt someone touch me inappropriately from behind. I turned around and yelled at him. He then ran away,” the victim told investigators.
The victim chased the accused and caught him. Then she called the police.
Her companion, SM, gave a similar testimony.
Police reviewed a CCTV footage, which showed the victim trying to hit the suspect with her hand bag before he ran away.
The court will reconvene on June 17.
