2-year-old bitten by human, thrown against wall

Published

INDIA: A two-year old has suffered at least two cardiac arrests and is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of New Delhi's AIIMS hospital. The horrified doctors have discovered human bites on her body. The child could also possibly suffer from brain damage which could have been caused by being thrown against a wall. The police authorities are hunting for those responsible for this cruel abuse of the little child.

The child has been named, Falak, which means the sky, by those looking after her. The team of doctors taking care of the baby say she is in a critical state and has only about 30-40 per cent chance of surviving the brutal attacks on her. The doctors told NDTV that the baby is a victim of the "battered baby syndrome" and is likely to have been abused by a close relative.

Earlier, a 15-year-old girl had brought her to the hospital's trauma centre. She allegedly told the doctor that the baby's injuries were a result of falling off the bed. However, the doctors got suspicious after looking at the extreme injuries on the infant's body and notified the police. The young girl has been grilled by the police for the actual story. The hunt is on for key suspects.

Sex addict has had 1,000 lovers... and 7 in 24 hours on a bad day

A 42-year-old woman has confessed to a sex addiction and claims to slept with more than 1,000 lovers.

Crystal Warren, a retail manager from Brighton blames her sex addiction on witnessing the painful breakdown of her parents marriage when she was five-years-old and had already slept with 40 men by the time she was just 17.

She was quoted in the Daily Mirror and Daily Mail as saying, that on the weekend she leaves the house in the middle of the day to find men at pubs or coffee shops to pick up and take home (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2093088/Crystal-Warren-reveals-slept-1-000-men.html).

On a bad day she admitted to having sex with seven different men in 24 hours.

According to the report, Miss Warren lost her virginity when she was 15 and became a sex addict almost instantaneously.

“I didn’t know 40 men was more than most women sleep with in a lifetime. All I knew was that I felt good about myself when I was having sex,” she is quoted as saying.

Miss Warren claims she has always practices safe sex. She isn’t able to have children but ensures she doesn’t contract any STIs.

“I’d begin to feel hungry for sex,” she says. “I’d go on the prowl for men on my lunch breaks. If I didn’t manage to have sex I’d be unproductive all afternoon. If I go without for a few days I start to feel desperately low, depressed and lack energy.”

13-year-olds given smartphone app to trace free condoms

BRITAIN: Boys, as tender as 13, can now access a smartphone application that helps them track down free condoms. The iPhone app gives directions to the nearest health clinic, pharmacy or youth club, reports Daily Mail

The app uses satellite positioning to plot a user’s location on a map, says the daily.

The iPhone application was launched earlier in January and it allows everyone to download it. However, the catch is that in order to lay their hands on emergency contraception, the users have to aged between 13 and 19 and they must be regitered with a national sexual health programme in Britain, which is known a C Card Scheme.

According to the rules of the scheme, the teenagers can take contraception 20 times and then they would have to meet a health official. The head of sexual health at Britain's NHS told the daily that the need to give teenagers the information on the move prompted them to come up with the application.
