Woman posed as boy for sex with girl

US: A Massachusetts woman will remain jailed without bail on a federal charge alleging she posed as a teenage boy to sexually prey on a West Virginia girl.

Friday's detention order from U.S. Magistrate Judge John Kaull says Carissa Hads is considered a flight risk and a danger to the community.

The 24-year-old Hads allegedly began a relationship over the Internet with the girl while pretending to be a 17-year-old boy named Puryear Wilson.

Prosecutors say Hads then sexually abused the 15-year-old in December 2011 at a Pennsylvania motel and in February at the teen's Lewis County residence.

State Police investigating the case say Hads' disguise included a back brace to hide her chest.

The Smoking Gun website first reported Hads' arrest.(AP)

@Sulthan : Seriously ?? grow up man !! its always the mindset. As Lauren said they dont care what you wear, if they have to assault, they will.

Sulthan. It doesn't matter if the woman is naked walking down the street in front of you. You do not assault her.

@Sulthan Khan : That is an extremely narrow minded way of looking at things. Sure its always good to wear respectful clothing, but to actually believe that that alone will protect someone from harm is ludicrous. Surely you do not believe that, if so, then there really isn't much hope left for us as a species.

@sulthan khan: you ignorant human. I am utterly ashamed to even call you human. respectful clothes? you actually think when a person plans to rape a woman, a piece of cloth actually stops that man to not rape her??!! which century are you living in you ignorant person. It makes me wonder exactly how you are planning to produce kids. If you have any traces of a brain you will know exactly what im talking about.

@Sulthan Khan: Clothes are not protective forcefields. Wearing "respectful" clothes is not going to protect you if someone is looking to hurt you. They won't care what you're wearing

the culture of wearing dress is more important to protect from any incident like this. Wear respectful clothes... Why the government is not putting FINES for wearing worse clothes.... FINES for poor people of crossing, cleaning only
