29-year-old woman looks 80 after childbirth

A 29-year-old woman was diagnosed with a rare condition after giving birth to her baby. Although pregnancy and motherhood heralds tremendous changes in a woman's body, this woman ended up looking like her baby's grandmother.

According to YourHealth, soon after giving birth to her child in 2003, the woman's physical looks deteriorated rapidly and she aged overnight.

She was diagnosed with cutix laxa, which is a connective tissue disorder and those that suffer from this disease are often characterised by skin that is sagging and inelastic. Patients appear much older than their actual ages, says the website.

The disease is mostly caused due to mutation of some gene and more than 200 people have been affected by this disease worldwide.
