82-year-old pervert molests women

An octogenarian widower is accused of sexually harassing young women of his locality in Egypt’s Shubra Al Khaima area of Qalyoubia governorate.

According to Al Watan daily, police took action after receiving at least 15 complaints from women who were victims of his actions.

The incident was highlighted when a 26-year-old woman was determined to have the pervert 82-year-old man arrested.

She alleged that touched her inappropriately and molested her as she was entering her apartment.

On hearing her raise an alarm, other women victims also came forward to share their experiences.

The suspect is living alone in the area after his wife died and his children are settled with their respective families elsewhere.

He has been arrested had turned over to public prosecution.

Man kills ex-wife’s lover

An Egyptian man estranged from his wife stabbed her lover to death in a fit of rage.

According to Masrawy website, the suspect had gone to visit his children who were in his ex-wife’s custody in Sayeda Zeinab area near Cairo.

Once there he saw his wife explicitly dressed in a compromising position with a stranger.

He allegedly picked up an argument with the 24-year-old man.. Soon he lost his cool, ran into the kitchen, picked up a knife and stabbed him several times.

The man was rushed to hospital with critical injuries. The hospital authorities informed cops.

Drunk man commits suicide on Dubai Metro track

A man committed suicide on Dubai Metro track which led to disruption of Metro service on Monday, Dubai Police said on Wednesday.

General Khamis Al Muzaina, Deputy Director of Dubai Police, said a man, Indian, climbed over the security fence of the Metro in front of Jumeirah Lake Towers and started walking on the track unitl he was hit and run over by one of the driverless trains.

“It was 6:30am when we received a call from Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) about finding a body on the Metro track. The man jumped over the low Metro fence and then sneaked through the emergency exit before reachingthe Metro track,” Al Muzaina said.

The 36-year-old man - identified as HU - couldn’t be identified untill the second day [Tuesday]. Police identified his body after one of his friends reported to the police that HU was missing. The man, a bachelor, was planning to return to India.

“He worked as a driver in a company for two years and was living near the accident area; his brother told us that he was planning to return to India. We don’t know the exact reason behind his suicide but it seems he had some problems,” Al Muzaina added.

Dubai Police said they were waiting for the final report from RTA about this incident which will help them in the investigation. “Our forensic doctors discovered that he was drunk,” he said.

Al Muzaina said new security measures will taken to prevent such tragedies in the future.
