Baby born with no head

In a rare incident, a woman in Zimbabwe has delivered twins. One of the siblings was born with a large head and the other did not have a head at all.

Tragically, both the babies died a few minutes after birth and the doctor proclaimed that the babies' conditions were not compatible with life, reports Zimbabwe News Day.

Such cases are rare, say doctors. Such deformations occur in the mother's womb in the very early stages of pregnancy and are generally known as congenital abnormality.

The identity of the woman who gave birth to twins has not been revealed.
