Bizarre: Man bites into 'animal toe' in pot of dip

NEW YORK: A man who claims to have found an animal toe in a pot of hummus is suing the food manufacturer, reports Metro.

The 35-year-old man bought the food item from the New York City market in September. He almost ate the foul thing which appeared in a spinach and artichoke hummus dip. The nail of the alien object touched his tongue and he is traumatised every time hias mind revisits that moment.

The man now no longer touches packaged food and only eats fresh produce.

The hummus manufacturer has declined the opportunity to inspect the alien object that allegedly turned up in the dip package.

 

Woman negotiates asking price to sell her own son

RUSSIA: A Russian woman tried to sell her five-year-old son for $10,000.

She was actually negotiating the rate with a client and her original asking price was $27,500 but the amount was reduced after a discussion, reveals Mid-Day.

The mother of two has caught the authorities' attention for not taking proper care of her children.

Her seven-year-old daughter lives with her grandmother. The boy was rescued by the authorities before he could be sold off and is now in the hands of social care officials.

If convicted, the woman could face up to 10 years in prison.

Screwdriver removed from woman's skull

INDIA: During a domestic scuffle between a couple, the husband thrust a screwdriver into his wife's nose, which entered the brain. Fortunately fort he woman, doctos in Madurai were able to remove the screwdriver from her skull during a surgery, reports Mid-Day.

It took the doctors about five hours to dislodge the metallic tool from the sensitive position.

The woman is recovering from the surgery but unable to utter a word as a result of the injury to the brain. She suffered from haemorrhage as the 22cm screwdriver had penetrated the left side of the brain.
