Crazy World: Body found in 16 pieces

Published

INDIA: Little did a Delhi-based artist know that he would meet a gruesome end. The tattoo artist's headless body was found in 16 pieces.

He was identified with the help of the body piece in which his wife's name was tattooed, reports The Times of India.

The police suspect that he might have been crushed by a train but his family suspect foul play. They claim that their boy had married without the blessings of his wife's family and they had threatened the boy with dire consequences just three days before the horrific incident.

The wife was still living at her parent's place at the time of the young man's untimely death.

The headless body was found spread over half a kilometre. The head has not been traced yet, the police claimed.

Probe is on and the police are not ruling out anything yet.

Man dares to 'marry' two girlfriends in one ceremony

BRAZIL: Do you take these women to be your lawful wedded wives? The well-known lines in plural is kind of unheard of in any society.

However, if the news emerging from Brazil is to be believed, three people were allowed to 'marry' in Rio De Janeiro. The trio, a man and his two girlfriends, were involved in a polygamous relationship, when a registrar entered them into a special kind of matrimony, reports Daily Mirror.

However, there was public outrage as the news spread following the ceremony. Some religious groups have also expressed anger over the move. But there is no law to prevent such a set up.

According to a BBC report, the threesome, have lived together as a ‘married couple’ for three years and share bills and a bank account.

The union was formalised three months ago to ensure that the three had family rights, Globo TV reported.

It is still not clear if courts, service providers and private companies such as health insurance providers will accept the ruling.

Man survives 2000-feet fall

INDIA: A young man escaped death when he fell 2,000-feet from a mountain in the Indian state of Gujarat.

The 28-year-old had gone to a temple at the top of the mountain. But when he was stepping off the religious place, he slipped and fell into the deep valley below from where he was rescued, reports Press Trust of India.

The man told those who had rushed to search for him in the family that thick bush growth saved him from certain death.

He was traced with the help of his mobile phone which was found in his pocket. He was pulled out on a stretcher with the help of a rope. He escaped with a hand fracture and is believed to be stable in hospital.

Wife shoots, sets 10th hubby on fire

TEXAS: In an attempt to get her hands on $175,000 insurance money, a 44-year-old woman from Texas decided to first shoot her husband and even set him on fire. To make matters worse, she blamed her son for the incident, reports The Daily Mail.

She claimed that her 19-year-old son shot her husband in the head at least four times and set his truck on fire after dragging his body from the house and dousing it with fuel to leave no traces of the murder and make it look like an accident.

She had married him barely five months ago and he was her tenth husband. She was only interested in collecting the insurance money.

Investigators were suspicious when the woman gave them three different stories for the gruesome event. She first told them he died when the pick-up caught fire. She then told them that a gun went off and finally she also made up a story about how they were having a fight and her husband attacked her and the gun fired during the incident.

When she was shown the four bullet injuries in his head, she coolly told them that her son had shot him.

The woman was handed a life sentence and would not even be eligible for parole until 2042.

Woman sells three daughters for Dh9

INDIA: A woman who had no place to call home in the City of Joy after she was driven out by her alcoholic husband with her three daughters, decided to give her kids away in return for a total sum of Dh9.

The mother and three daughters had initially found shelter in a pilgrimage home. However, they were not allowed to stay there indefinitely. The females had ended up in a railway station and used to beg to keep hunger at bay, reports TNN.

The woman sold her three girls aged 10, 8 and 4, to three couples in Kolkata, reports The Times of India. The mother resorted to take this step since she did not want her kids to fall into the hands of human traffickers and end in brothels or even worse.

She received Dh9 for the two older daughters. She gave away her youngest one for free.

However, the social services got to know about the deal and rescued the girls and sent them to government shelter.

The drunken husband has been arrested for throwing his family out on the street.
