Crazy World: 'Prostitute owes me', man tells cops

A man in Maine, US, called police to complain that a prostitute had not given him his money's worth.

The 34-year-old has been arrested and charged with engaging a prostitute, reported Huffington Post.

He filed a complaint stating that the woman he had hired owes him 10 more minutes.

Investigations led to the arrest of two women, too, related with the case.

Court allows man to jog naked

Naturist Andrew Pointon, 47, won a court battle wherein he was charged for indecent exposure last year after a woman complained that she saw him jog wearing nothing but sneakers in a park.

Pointon said that the ruling helps support his belief that nudity is not about exhibitionism, reported Huffington Post. "There's nothing perverted or sexual about it...its just feeling good in your body," he added.

The judge while issuing the verdict compared Pointon's jog - which was in a forested area away from the crowd - to a hypothetical scene where two gang members walk together in the same area. The judge added that it is not surprising that the complainant was discomforted but the behaviour cannot be considered 'offensive'.

However critics of the ruling said the verdict showed 'double standards'.

Bigoted couple torture man for sadistic pleasure

A couple in Accrington, UK, lured a 29-year-old vulnerable man with learning disabilities to their house on the pretext of allowing him to play video games and tortured and humiliated him.

Ross Walsh, 30, and his wife Christina, 36, used David Busby for their sadistic pleasure., reported Daily Mail. The husband would repeatedly punch him in the cellar, while the wife stood and watched before taking money from him.

After a month of seuufering he had suufered 14 broken ribs, a broken collar bone, displaced breast bone and injuries on his lower back, thighs, chest and kidney area.

The husband has been sentenced to 10 years in jail, while the five gets a five-year-term.

Father of 9 asked to stop producing kids

A father of nine from Wisconsin, US, has been ordered by court to stop producing children and pay the $90,000 (Dh330,566) he owes in child support.

According to a Huffington Post report, Corey Curtis, 44, has children with six women. He is also serving three years of probation.

The judge added that it is "too bad that the court doesn't have the authority to sterilize".

It is not clear what the punishment would be if he were to go ahead and have another child.

Dad leaves dog to babysit infant

A 10-month-old baby was left in the care of a pit bull while his father went to the bar.

James Irvine, 41, from Palm Coast, Florida, is charged with child neglect, according to a report in Huffington Post.

The infant's mother said she was at work that day and she had entrusted her boyfriend to take of their son. When she tried reaching him after several attempts he picked the phone to say he was watching a game and hung up on her.

So when she dashed back home, she saw her boyfriend urinating on himself. She told cops that he admitted to her that he had been out drinking but had not left their baby alone because "the pit bull was watching the baby".
