Dubai Police arrested a murder suspect after an hour of him committing the alleged crime.
Police patrol saw a four-wheel drive veering off lanes erratically in International City in the early hours of Tuesday.
They followed the vehicle and discovered the driver was wounded and had no control of the car.
According to Arabic dailies, the Afghani driver confessed to killing an Iraqi shop owner.
He led cops to the shop in a building in the area where the body was found in a pool of blood.
The suspect claimed that the victim attempted to have sex with him, and in the ensuing brawl he was killed.
He immediately drove off from the site, and ran into the police patrol.
However, investigations are on to find the real motive of the crime. It is also reported that the Afghani suspect was working illegally for the victim.
