Duo barge in and rape man's wife for revenge

Published

MALAYSIA: Two strangers barged inside a home while a woman was in the shower. They threatened to kill her with a knife that they were brandishing if she did not cooperate. The woman was in a state of shock and could not utter a word in her defence.

The duo tied up her hands and feet and even gagged her mouth with a piece of cloth. They then took turns to rape the woman before fleeing from the house in Selangor in Malaysia, reports Asia One.

It later emerged that the two rapists had shattered the back door of the house in the afternoon to enter the home. They knew the woman's husband and the duo raped her as they had a personal vendetta against the husband.

Before they left the house, they wrote a note to the husband saying that his life was in danger.

The woman managed to set herself free and immediately called her husband who rushed in from work.

The couple filed a police complaint and the medical tests confirmed that the woman had been raped repeatedly.

Woman tried to break into jail

OHIO: Police in southwest Ohio are perplexed about why a woman tried to sneak into a county jail before telling authorities to arrest her.

Deputies with the Butler County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Tiffany R. Hurd when she was caught trying to climb over a fence into Butler County Jail in Hamilton, near Cincinnati.

The Sunday morning arrest came after jail staff told Hurd to leave the property, but she told them to arrest her.

Deputies then repeatedly asked Hurd to leave, but she refused and attempted to climb the fence again.

Deputies say she was intoxicated.Hurd was arrested on misdemeanour charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

She is now at the county jail. Hurd's bond has been set at $2,500. Her attorney did not immediately return a message Monday. (AP)

US: Police in Shelton, Wash., say they've made an arrest in a reported attack on a woman who was walking along Olympic Highway.

The woman told police a man tried to abduct her but she was able to get away after biting his hand during a brief struggle.

Police say the 33-year-old woman flagged down a Mason County sheriff's deputy early Saturday to report the attack.

Man calls 911 while clinging to truck 3 miles

NEW YORK: Authorities say a man managed to call an emergency dispatcher and describe his situation while he clung to the outside of a pickup truck as it travelled three miles on a New York road.

Police in Troy tell local media that 45-year-old Robert Kowalik got into a dispute Sunday with another man at convenience store.

When the man drove away in his pickup truck, Kowalik was on the outside of the vehicle.

Police say it's not clear whether he had grabbed onto the truck or accidentally got attached.

Authorities say he managed to dial 911 on his mobile phone and give the dispatcher a "play-by-play" of the ordeal, which ended when he fell in a store parking lot.

Kowalik was hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver was charged with assault. (AP)
