Egg stuck in throat kills RAK woman

A Bangladeshi woman died because an egg stuck got in her throat, ‘Al Ittihad’ has reported.

The newspaper reported that the victim was working as a labourer in Al Hudaibia Secondary School for girls in Ras Al Khaimah.

She died while she was on duty, said sources at the Ras Al Khaimah Education Zone.

However, the report cites medical sources as stating that the death is attributed to heart failure.

School staff informed ‘Al Ittihad’ that the woman fell on the floor while she was eating the egg and it got stuck in her throat.

She was working at the school for 15 years.
