Image that got 3 Burger King workers fired

Employee posted pictures of himself standing in bins of lettuce

Burger King employees fired over viral lettuce pic

A Burger King employee in Ohio who took a picture of himself standing on top of lettuce was fired by the company after the picture went viral.

The photo was first posted on the website 4Chan by the employee, according to video from USA Today. Users became so disgusted that they used GPS data from the photo to track down the location of the fast-food restaurant.

The manager was promptly notified and three employees - including the person standing in the lettuce - were let go, the video says.

In a statement, Burger King said food safety is the company's "top priority" and that they have a zero-tolerance policy against instances that endanger food safety.

Seriously God knows what the ones working behind the kitchen do when no ones monitoring at them. Especially major fast food chains. Thankful that there are at least some honest people out there.
