INDIA: A man committed suicide after learning that his wife was involved in an extra-marital affair. He literally caught them red-handed in the act.

The wife now claims that her husband misread the situation. She was being molested by the man, when her husband happened to walk in on them, reports Asia One.

The 22-year-old resident of Bangalore hung himself to death in the servant's quarters of a villa where all three were worked as low-grade employees.

The incident occurred around 9pm at night when the husband walked into the couple's living quarters and found his wife and their colleague together in the shower. The other man ran away from the scene in a hurry while the husband slapped his wife repeatedly.

The husband then locked himself in the kitchen and refused to answer the door even when his wife asked him to open the door. By the time the wife went and got help and they broke the door open, the husband had hung himself.

The woman told the police officials that their colleague had gagged her and dragged her to the bathroom where the husband had found them.

US female professor held for ‘illicit’ meeting

Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police arrested an American university professor for having an “illicit” meeting with an Arab company driver in the Gulf Kingdom.

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice had suspected a car parked just behind a shopping mall in Riyadh.

When they knocked on the window, an Arab man stepped out of the back seat and look confused, the Arabic language daily Sabq said.

When they looked at the back seat, they found an American woman who works as a professor at a university in Riyadh, it said.

“Both were arrested and referred to the competent authorities for investigation,” the paper said without identifying the two.

Saudi Arabia, which strictly enforces Islamic law, bans gender-mixing in public places unless they are close relatives.

Man, 91, gets 51 years in molestation case

US: A 91-year-old Tucson man convicted of molesting three children has been sentenced to 51 years in prison.

The Arizona Daily Star says Angelino Paolo Buccheri-Bianca told a judge Monday that he was tried unfairly and the children were never in his home.

Buccheri-Bianca was indicted last June on nine counts of molestation of a child.

Four children from one family told authorities that Buccheri-Bianca had molested them and threatened to kill family members if they told anyone. He also allegedly threatened to have the family deported.

A jury last month found Buccheri-Bianca guilty of molesting three of the four children, all of whom were under 12.

Prosecutors say Buccheri-Bianca was facing up to 216 years in prison if he'd been convicted on all nine counts he faced at trial. (AP)
