Lightning kills camel whose owner refused to sell

A Saudi farmer received an offer of SR15,000 (Dh15,000) to sell his camel by he  refused as it used to give a lot of milk. A week later, the animal was killed by lightning.

The camel was grazing near the farm in the southern Saudi province of Jazan when it was struck by lightning during bad weather conditions.

“Last week, I refused to sell it for SR15,000 and could still refuse if I received a bigger offer…it was a good camel which produced much milk…I am not upset because I believe in God’s will,” its owner Mohammed Jarah said, quoted by Jazan News daily.
