Man finds cash machine key, calls police

A Saudi man who wanted to withdraw money from the bank’s cash machine stared in disbelief as its key was left on its top, apparently forgotten by the company which supplies cash to the ATM, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

After trying the key to verify, the man noticed that the machine has just been replenished with cash. Instead of emptying its contents, he phoned the police.

“The man waited with the key until the police arrived….by doing this, he prevented a big theft at the bank’s machine,” Sabq newspaper said in a brief report from the Western Saudi town of Taif.
