Man held for 'mad' mopping of shoes

A 30-year-old man in Conneticut, US, has been arrested for ‘aggressive mopping’ of the floor.

According to a report in independent, John Thornton allegedly grabbed the mop from the hotel staff that was doing a ‘bad job’ and started cleaning himself.

Soon he began mopping the employee’s shoes, and then he “turned his back to her and forcibly backed into her pushing her into a corner”, the police spokesperson was quoted as saying.

He was charged with breach of peace. The hotel employee will reportedly press charges against him.

He will appear in court later this month.
