A 49-year-old man has been stabbed after he refused to hand over his money and telephone to a robber.
Police say the victim was sitting on logs feeding the ducks and listening to music at Longwood Avenue and the Riverway around 12:20 pm Sunday when a man accosted him demanding his money and iPhone. When he refused, the man stabbed him with a small knife.
The Boston Globe reports that the victim is being treated at a hospital for a slash to his chest and three wounds on his left leg.
No arrests have been made.
