The royal newlyweds were one of the main features at an annual scarecrow festival in a village in Yorkshire.

Scarecrows dressed as Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge stood as part of the annual scarecrow festival on August 13, 2011 in Kettlewell, England.

Daily Mail said: "Kate, who can be seen beaming with pride, even looked as though she was clutching a bouquet of Sweet Williams - the flowers she carried with her in April.

"Only one thing missing was the smile on Prince William's face who looked rather more stern than his usual happy self."

During the two week festival the rural Yorkshire Dales village comes to life with both traditional scarecrows and more modern takes, including parodies of current affairs and celebrites.
