A con woman in the Indian state of Rajasthan married not once or twice but six times, only to run away each time with the jewels and other valuables which the trusting families gifted her with.
She also had two male accomplices to help her carry out the act of a blushing bride each time, reports IANS.
Police officials finally managed to catch-up with the runaway bride and her two assistants when one of the bridegroom's father filed a complaint with the authorities. Further investigation showed that the runaway bride was running a racket in that particular area in the state.
Authorities took the assistance of technology by locating her position with the help of her mobile phone and stopped her from duping someone else. Only some of the looted booty has been recovered from the woman's possession.
