A family court in Egypt has ruled in favour of a woman who sought divorce on the grounds that her husband is addicted to sleeping. (Shutterstock)
A Saudi citizen was surprised when his wife asked divorce because she is taller than him, ‘Al Watan’ newspaper has reported.
The husband, identified in the report as Ibrahim, says that while he never did think about the difference between him and his wife, over time it became a complex and an embarrassment in front of his friends.
He says that this lead him to avoid going out with her.
The report says the wife thought it became an inferiority complex and her husband needed to visit a psychiatrist.
After a while she asked for a divorce.
Their relationship had almost reached the end, until the wife’s father and brother intervened, the report stated.
